The alcohol cars have absolutely explosive power and acceleration and are often described as one of the most difficult cars to drive. It takes more than courage to handle these machines. The driver needs lightning quick reactions, excellent coordination and serious determination. Because of the challenge facing the alcohol driver, a strong previous racing history is recommended.

Our alcohol cars are equipped with Brad Anderson Hemi engines, PSI screw chargers, “Pedal” clutches and Lenco 3 speed transmissions . . . just like the pros use. Rev it up and let it go with 60 foot times well under one second!

The program starts with classroom instruction, driving equipment fitting and safety instruction. This is followed by an introduction to the cars and their controls. After a “warm up” procedure in the pit area, you’ll move on to the track. Each session will be recorded on video tape and by the Racepak computer. Then you’ll participate in a classroom review after each track session. You’ll begin by making a short “launch” from the starting line and will progress to longer runs as your skill and confidence increase. We emphasize the individual in all of our courses. Each student progresses at his or her own ability and pace, no one is rushed or held back by the progress of the other drivers.
